About Paperazzi~

We live in a paradoxical world, wherein as we grow more reliant on technology and in moving away from print media and hardcover books, we are wasting more paper than ever before. To tackle this riddle, and challenge the very real threat of global warming, we have Paperazzi. Paperazzi is a team designated to facilitate change. Deforestation, the main process through which we get paper, contributes to 20% of the total greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere. Every second, a forest the size of a football field is cut to make way for our insatiable need for this product.

At Paperazzi we wish to invent creative solutions to implement at a local community-based level, to positively impact a global threat. Our mission is to contribute to making the world a better place by reducing our excessive use of paper, recycling 100% of the school’s waste paper, and looking for alternative ways to reduce consumption. Through our rigorous plan and hands-on approach, we aspire to have an educational environment, wherein waste paper is a thing of the past.
